^ hmm yeah i saw the sign... but i walked past the tent and there didn't seem to be anything and i was too lazy to ask

s'okay though... i don't really want a diary with the new logo... it's kinda... =\
at least you could tell the lighthouse was a lighthouse

I agree- the logo is SO UGLY!
So I figured when I got home that the cover from my own diary (one that I bought from a newsagent) came off and it fits the MQ diary perfectly! So now I don't have to look that the logo anymore and my diary looks neat

i took less than an hour at MQ on monday....

and the diaries were being given out at a special tent, between E4A and E4B i think (maybe other places as well)

thats pretty pro since the seminar i went to took 1 hour lolol

was the seminar that enrolment preparation thing? was it worth it?

edit: i think the logo just looks like a leaf.

i meant excluding the seminar (which was pointless, IMO)

i ddint even need to go, everything that was said i already knew

because i had my form filled out and everything, didnt even need a pen on the day

just walked out of that seminar 5 mins early, piked up handbook, went to academic advisor, got form signed, went to the ernolment room, they enrolled me into the system, then went up to computer room, registered in units/classes and got my timetable done, then went to get campus card done (on the way there i piked up my diary), and travel concessions werent available till next week

i ddint even need to go, everything that was said i already knew

because i had my form filled out and everything, didnt even need a pen on the day

ye i did that too but while going to computer room i waited around for 40 mins cause all the computers were full then walked to get a waiver from e to w then back and waited for another 40 mins, u get the idea

and i got my concession already ;D

It is the 'Sirius' star which was found atop the lighthouse in the old logo, except during the initial unveiling, they had a slight wardrobe malfunction with the star, converting it from a 7 pointed one, to the Star of David, and this apparently got through all the checks, all the market testing, and all the way to the launch and no one apparently had a problem.

They eventually figured out it was the Graphic Designer's fault of course.
