ignore dota - he's some greasy geek that needs a life.

anyways - study for 3unit would be do maths in focus questions then head onto past hsc papers.

once you finish them do cambridge for further/more intensive questions

use maths and focus to understand concept and theory and do some questions from it. it is easier than cambridge,
after that, read through explanation of concepts page from cambridge and do the questions from it.
cambridge is much harder than maths in focus so if you can't do some questions, it is ok.
and when it comes down to exam block, do some questions from the book and if you can, get school's past exam paper and attempt it.

best way to study for any level of maths is to just do questions.

you should also write up a list of formulae that you use often and keep it near you. only look if you can remember the formulae.

but the key is to just keep doing questions, because when it comes down to it, you will be doing questions in the exam and nothing else

hmm Maths in Focus... decent book.. not great... but as everyone has stated, if your teacher gives you examples understand them, if you dont understand them ask the teacher for help... also Understanding Maths and J.B. Fitzpatrick are good books for theory from what i've been told.. Do the practice questions and...

After that move onto cmabridge and own it!

dont forget to do past papers :)

Remember we're all in this together
