Mugabe sincere and direct? Are we talking about the same Mugabe?Stolen from Wikipedia, I know, but if we compare Mugabe to the following, I think you'll find he meets all the criterion.
A wise person can discern the core of important problems.
A wise person has self-knowledge.
A wise person seems sincere and direct with others.
Others ask wise people for advice.
A wise person's actions are consistent with his/her ethical beliefs.
I'm sure he has all of the above, it's just that his perception of right/wrong is skewed/different to ours, and he's just slightly... nuts.
What are his limits?Mugabe sincere and direct? Are we talking about the same Mugabe?
Also, self-knowledge includes a knowledge of one's limits. Mugabe shows no sign of this, despite being an 85 year-old dictator.
Morals and ethics don't have much to do with being wise eh. Good character (subjective anyway) and wisdom don't have to go hand in hand.i'd think somebody wise if they had good ethics and morals. but a times, it's wat decissions they make THAT AREN'T STUPID.
good pointMorals and ethics don't have much to do with being wise eh. Good character (subjective anyway) and wisdom don't have to go hand in hand.
But how to put it into practice is information of itself.Intelligence if having the right information for the situation...
Wisdom is knowing how to put it into practice.
