I didn't say they did. Reading the findings, you would have seen that the commonwealth threatened to overwrite the laws if Tasmania hadn't. It's not legally binding by any means, but the government seems to like the UN.
The gay Keating gvt liked the UN
It means nothing, fag.

And fuck off deleting my valid posts, Kwayera (you dumb fuckin slut)

how the fuck would this even be monitered
Exactly! I mean, yeah it's law to be a certain age to have sex. But when it happens, nothing is done about it. I mean check out the 13 year old dad, the mother is only 15.

It's illegal, and we don't do jack shit?

Like Casey Donavon on Australian Idol those few years back. She was a heavy smoker, and it was the 'drama' of the show. Although she didn't look it - she was only 16!?

This would be another thing that doesn't have any effect whatsoever, even if made law.

13 yo father =/= Australian.
I thought they were American. Either way, in America it's 18 to have sex I think, for both?
So that'd be worse lol.

But it's just so weird that we have laws about how old you have to to have sex, and smoke - but they are not enforced or punished?

Underage drinking is just 'so' important, that they ignore evrything else and put up mixed drink prices, which will subsequently just cause the kids to steal more money off their parents for it, waste their own, or switch to straight liquor and fuck themselves up even more.

In before anybody else: virgin detected.
because he's not getting any, he doesn't want anyone else to get any

i truly believe this is the psychology of most people who enforce no pre-marital sex
Haha, SurferNerd is a frustrated virgin. Sounds like he is fat/ugly/socially retarded and will be resorting to redtube to 'relieve' his testosterone fuelled urges for quite some time, and here he is telling teenagers and young adults that 'sex is bad mummy, please make the government take it away!'

Tops.

They were from the UK, and ages of majority in the US varies by state, I think.

Oh yeah they would hey, forgot that each US state is pretty different.

Britain... I'm still sure it would be illegal there.
My point is, we have laws and don't do shit about them.. even publicise them..
and it's oh so very weird.

Yeah, definately. It is just so strange.

Like the Casey Donavon case, a heavy smoker - made famous, and having her 'poor bad habit' discussed...

What's the go?
Isn't there fines out there or something? What is the point of even having the law if there's no punishement.
I'm sure that the 13 year old father with the 15 year old mother is Illegal in one sense, if not both of them.

Its an interesting topic-
Despite your opinion, you can't change it.

Anyways, the concept is just plain stupid..

also..
Cheers for the positive rep, but u still didn't address the dilemma I produced- if I'm not going to watch porn, is it ok in your opinion for me to go out and fuck a hot chick? And I mean really hard, for a good hour, probably in various positions- doggy, reverse cowgirl, 69 and ultimately culminating in anal before unleashing my load all over her face? I mean, if I can't get such a thrill in porn, surely it should be acceptable in real life?
Taken from the "should pornography be illegal" thread

I think we have a skeezer on our hands..

Pretty laughable question. Making sex taboo forces people into rushed marriages which often just turn into bad marriages. Then we just end up with more adultery and divorce. Sex is an experience like any other and experience is good. It gives people the experience and maturity to make a good choice on the person they commit their life to.

No, it shouldn't. Why does the reason we exist for need to be tabboo until we get married?

What if people stay in a de-facto relationship and never get married? Not everyone wants to get married so making pre marital sex illegal is silly.
