Um, Isn't Mathematics essential for Economics ?

Just the easy ones, plus, minus and dividing....2U math is plenty. They should only make you do uni math if you are doing finance, ecometrics...and stuff for the higher life forms.

Excrete maths is useful in computing because some of the algorithms you'll come across later are based on topics in the course ie graph theory.

yeah, discrete is probably the most useful math you'll ever learn in computer science at unsw. you'll realize that later when you get to 2nd/3rd year.

Worst: SOCA1004 Relationships majority was useless gibberish.

alright, week 3 and ENGG1000 does seem to be a bit of a pointless course.

the lectures so far have been terrible, barely learn anything worth remembering.

lets hope things pick up

Useless: JAPN2500 (Japanese culture course, which is a core).

is Diana-sensei still teaching 2500 ?? course was little dull but she was the most awsome lecturer
