we have to write an essay answering the question "Assess the Importance of the Great Depression as a cause of the failure of Democracy in Germany in the period 1918-1934"
but how do i structure it?wat do i include?all help is welcome and appreciated, i feel so lost

-increased bank rates
-slowing economy because of major banks increasing rates
- foreign investments
- short term investment money being placed into long term investment plan
- impact of all the above on the german population

i did my half yearly today. for modern.

easy, like the other dude said include the hyperinflation etc in.

but underline the key words in the question and work from there love.

so. assess how the great depression worked as a faliure and how it affected the democracy. so.

how how stresseman helped germany back on its feet, then hindenburg adn the use of emergency decrees. use von papen, and the other three chancellors who made democracy fall.

use specific examples too.

Remember, it didn't directly cause the collapse of the Weimar Republic but instead, created the conditions which were then exploited by several individuals and groups to orchestrate the downfall of Weimar.
