i love this site cause when i look at ppl doing well..i Wanna do REALLY WELL.

Those results are not like..the best..but the ranks are awsm so that must mean the papers were Cr*ppy...

you can stilll get a 98 trust me..>>>

HELP i stuffed up my half yearlies

OMG I TRIED REALLY REALLY hard and worked 5 hrs a night and today when i got my results back i ran to the toilet and cried

i got 60% for english
48% for maths
68% for PDHPE
38% in chem

I RUINED MY HSC AND MY LIFE

Only you can help yourself. Study hard and don't get distracted, that's the only cure, I'm sure you could pull off a 90 if you push up those marks to 90+, also how are your ranks?

Try and rank high from now on, don't stress too much. Just study, it's the perfect cure.

yess ive been studying heaps since gettin that MARK.. i think its kind of the wake up call i needed .. what marks wuld i need to get for the trials and the other assesment to get OVER 90 emphasing on OVER 90 lol

I think you would need to push up your ranks first, like rank up the top end, you should be going for 90+ in your trials in my opinion.

If you get around 90 overall for your hsc you could get a UAI of 95+ but that's the final HSC mark.

To get 90+ I rekon you need a final mark of 85+?

Well just try your best and nail everything!

i fucked up my physics. i only got two marks out of six for a gravitational potential energy, so that gives an indication of how shit i went. to make sure i didn't forget this lesson, i threw myself off a cliff. at m metres above the ground gpe=-Gm1m2/(r+m). the moment i crashed i had 4753.6 N force, towards the centre of the earth

i am hoping you need over 95 for your course, because trying to get some insane UAI is not worth the effort if you don't need it. In 12 months who will care/know anyway. Get what you need, do well BUT try to enjoy it

there is no such thing as an insane UAI that isnt attainable (remember alternate entry/ bonus point schemes)....every1 has the equal opportunity to acheive a UAI of 95+, it is only how much effort we put into acheiving our goal that makes up our UAI...and if you cant be fucked putting in the effort and striving for the bear minimum, then you dont deserve to go to university...only hard working people do ...thats why UWS despite how good their facilities or teaching skills are..will always by near the bottom of the list until they raise their addmission standards to that of a level equivilant to a true university..

economics 89% 2nd

biology 89% 2nd
ancient history 90% 1st

Did not do as well as I wanted, did pretty poor tbh, i fucked up becuase the holidays before year 12 i spent fucking around like a loser, I wish I had typed up all my notes during the holidays, so come term 1 i had 8 weeks to write all my notes which fucked me. Heres for hoping I can still get a 75+
