I never said we should go there, I said once you're there --stay, listen, contribute, leave.

Even though the United Nation as a governing body has failed it's still a place where nations can gather and discuss certain topics which effect global peace. However, in our case we had certain nations boycott the forum under the pretext that the Iranian leader will most likely add fuel to fire. Thats besides the point, some nations walked off once Mahmoud Ahmadinejad started speaking against Israel, why? Why did you rock up? what was wrong with what he said? Deep down we all know what he stated was correct, maybe it was in a nasty tone or the fact that he used the UN forum to show the hypocrisy of some western nations which in turn pissed of some delegates?

The idea of the forum was after Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke other delegates had the opportunity to speak as well, they could have counter argued against Iran's harsh views of Israel, but they walked out defeated the whole purpose of being their on the first place.
