Ya, you would be a cool mod.

I applied a while back and got rejected :(

My behavior is too erratic to be a mod anyway.

Ill be on a 4 week break from BoS, to focus on my studies. so ill speak to you all later.

Yup, counting bugs in leaf litters etc etc

Grab a good journal article and use it as a "template". At least that's what I did :p
That's exactly what I'm doing actually :p had to write a BABS essay on a scientific journal article, so I'm using that one for headings and rough ideas about what to write etc.

It's all the analysis of data and writing/researching the discussion that's doing my head in :( the fact that it's very, very boring doesn't help.

Will you be going to ya gig tonight missyanon
I very nearly did, but some other stuff came up. bah. people who went said it wasn't fantastic anyway.

you must be doing a quantum physics assignment.
what part of the assignment required this nerdy asian to sit in both my engineering design 2 and mechanics of solids lectures and get in my way to complete his quantum physics assignment?
i mean, they are on different scales goddamnit.

First names with two separated words will only be listed as the first word in the student database... Then when you talk on the discussion boards everyone starts calling you "Ewe" ... I'm not a goddamn sheep! D=

EDIT: Oh, and when new semesters start the tutors just call you by that first word... and "Ewe" sounds like "You" ... -_-; Then you have to keep correcting them for about half the semester...

Trust my parents to give the naming responsibilities to a non-English speaker...

But I suppose this would happen in any other uni...

the chem building toilets smell like diarrhea.

and people who sit behind me in a lecture with thongs and stinky feet, resting their feet on the middle isle stairs so that they're within 1m of my nose.

Email from UNSW said:
Dear Student,
This is an official University communication from the course authority for
BIOS1301 Ecology and sustainability in Teaching Period T1 2009

We have discovered a mistake in the Thursday's data file (23.4.09).

This mistake has been corrected and updated on the WebCT.

Please update your file and results from WebCT.
Are you serious?!?!

Do you know how long I spent meticulously typing weird formulae into Excel spreadsheets and making the graphs look pretty!??!

and now you tell me it was ALL WRONG?!?!

:burn:

This ecology assignment just keeps getting better and better every day.

(PS: If you're an ecologist/biologist, you could at least learn how to spell the names of the invertebrates you're dealing with.

What the hell is a 'cochroach'?? It's got a 'K', you fool. You spelt it correctly below. BE CONSISTENT.)

lol, the thought crossed my mind actually, at about the same time as "But he spelt it correctly for 'C' and 'D'". Ah well.
