Can anyone tell me wtf is wrong with my computer??

It is really slow all of a sudden. And by sow, i don't mean, it takes a little longer for an internet site to load. I mean slow as in taking 15 minutes (literally) just to turn on and load to the sign in page. My computer isn't that old (maybe a couple of years, but at least its not a shitbox)!!

So basically, its retarded. In my eyes anyway.. It's really fristrating because im stressing from assignments and when my computer freezes, i seriously just want to smash it!!! :burn:

But anyway... The net seems to be working fine. Um.. Except just then (although it isnt net related), my computer just decided to adapt an oldschool look.. As in, with the square tabs, and the very formal layout. GRRR!! It's retarded and its making me frustrated!!! :bomb:

But anyways.. I'm just ranting, to release my anger..

So does anyone know what is wrong with my computer and how i can fix it?
This is the first time this has happened and its really worrying.
And, is it just my computer or is the bored of studies home page not working??

Thanx in advance for any help.

And sorry for writing an essay..

It may be in safe mode.

Also, use a free spyware/adware scanner.

it quite probably has a virus. If you don't know what that is, it is a small program that can get onto your computer off the net and then cause things to malfunction/go slow/screw up.

Your computer probably has come sort of antivirus software - look for something with a name like AVG, Symantec, Trend Micro. If you're not sure, type AVG Free 8.5 into google and download that (hopefully it doesn't take too long) and install it, then run a scan.

If that sounds all greek to you, its not that hard, just follow the prompts.

Virus? Likely NOT. Adware or spyware, almost guaranteed.

most likely contains some sort of spyware or malware.

get the latest free version of AVG and do a complete system scan if the aforementioned solutions dont solve anything.

Download HijackThis, run a scan, save the log, and post the log on one of the Virus cleaning forums...They'll tell you if the problem is virus/ad ware/spyware...

Trend Micro HouseCall - Free Online Virus and Spyware Scan - Trend Micro USA
Use this first

then go to

CCleaner - Home download it, fire it up and choose the advanced section then startup.

untick everything in startup.

Restart

Then download spybot from The home of Spybot-S&D! and run that shit, epic
This, but include these as well
vundofix.atribune.org
javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

Free Firewall - Download the Best Firewall Protection and Anti-Virus Scan Software from Comodo - as a last resort. But probably not.

If your internet browser is Mozilla, get this:

Its Malware or Spyware, since he hasnt stated any popups appearing.

Then again it could be a boot sector virus and hed would be wise to do a system repair/restore after doing a complete scan.

Do not use Hijack This. That stuff is reserved for the dangerous viruses and crap, and you need to be at least a LITTLE computer literate to use it.

If it is spyware/malware, just format it.

I doubt it is though. I mean if it's taking ages just to load up, it probably isn't spyware/malware (since they only 'activate' once Windows finishes loading up). My bet is that one of your fans are fucked up. Try opening the case and see if the fans are turning, or if they are, touch (NOT THE FANS LOL) something and see if it's really hot or not.

P.S. You have three fans. One huge, one medium, one tiny.

Yeah okay, get a completely computer illiterate person to install Linux. Nah, that'll work well.
