Diffculty of maths:

1. Electrical, then;

2. Computer
3. Mechanical
4. Structural (Civil)

Although mechanical and civil can be considered to have similar math.
What topics are similar and different between each different type? Haven't properly looked into specific topic yet

Does anyone know how hard biomedical engineering is and their reputation among the more established engineering community, ie electrical, mechanical etc.

What I meant by similar is that:

Civil and Mechanical students need to do "Maths 1", "Maths 2".

While Electrical and Computer students need to do "Maths 1, "Maths 2" and "Math 3".

Also Civil and mechanical students share subjects such as "statics" and "mechanics", as both need to under the stresses, strains, and applied loads and each member's behaviour when constructing buildings and machine parts respectively.

ALL engineering degrees are difficult.

I know a mate that does Biomed at UNSW, he is going crazy levels of math, chem and biology.

I was thinking of doing biomedical engineering at UQ where it is a double major with Electrical, hard yeah?

yeah i know, i just meant what topics are common between all fields and what are specific

e.g Electrical & Civil may do Linear Algebra

Civil may also do Optimisation

ETC ( purely an example)

Does anyone know what subjects you would take to 'specialise' in 'power engineering'?
