I've been a smoker for about 6 years now, nearly 7. Tried quitting smoking seriously for the first time last month (using 24 hr patches). I went about 3 days and then had one. Then over the course of about 3 weeks had around 4 cigarettes in total. Then totally stuffed up and smoked two with my brother and then bought a pack. Started up again, but really want to try quitting again. It just sucks because everyone sees it as a complete fail, but I just see it as a stuff up in the process of quitting. Anyway, I'm going to try again an not smoke any at all. You say to yourself, "oh, i'll just have one and then no more" but that completely fucks your quitting process up...

Patches are good though...
