The article did say students sitting the HSC in 09 but it does seem a bit odd at the whole sudden-ness of it all.

The announcement concerning this change will be made tomorrow. It was inadvertently leaked by the media.

It's best if you just think of it as a name change.

There are a few extremely minor and technical alterations but they won't have practical consequences for anyone.

Check the UAC website tomorrow for the official announcement.

I think they're just trying to reiterate the point that 100UAI =/= perfect 100s across your subjects (i.e. 500ag)...

okay, i'm a bit confused by all of this...how did it leak and were they going to give us ANY warning at all before they just sprang it on us?
