I am so sick of this man and those who smooch his rear.

He is a puppet of the bankers.

The recession was caused by over consumption, Federal Reserve pumped in too much 'credit' after 9/11 attacks.

We all need to save more, the economy does not need 'stimulus'.

Keynesian economic fallacies got us into this mess, only sound Austrian school

economics will get us out.

No bailouts. Let the market liquidate bad assets, yes some people will lose, but

with bailouts that burden is on the taxpayer. Without bailouts that burden is on

those who lived beyond their means.

The central bank is not the lender of last resort. When they create new money

and use, it they get the full value, as the money rips through the economy

prices rise.

You are the lender of last resort. When prices rise, understand that only

an increase in the money supply can cause a general increase in prices.

He has a nice rear, far greater than Bush, so whats not to "smooch".

He is a puppet of the bankers.
Umm ... why exactly have you formed this opinion?

The recession was caused by over consumption, Federal Reserve pumped in too much 'credit' after 9/11 attacks.
Right, because Obama was President when this all went down. And yes, over consumption under the Bush Administration.

We all need to save more, the economy does not need 'stimulus'.
No, you mean the Republicans do not want more debt.

Keynesian economic fallacies got us into this mess, only sound Austrian school

economics will get us out.
Again, what does this have to do with Obama? I believe he was elected after the economy went to shit.

No bailouts. Let the market liquidate bad assets, yes some people will lose, but

with bailouts that burden is on the taxpayer. Without bailouts that burden is on

those who lived beyond their means.
Yes, many understand that debt = higher tax's. If your a Republican/Liberal, chances are you will be hit alot harder.

The central bank is not the lender of last resort. When they create new money

and use, it they get the full value, as the money rips through the economy

prices rise.

No, China is the last resort. Well actually Saudi Arabia, you see the US already has a massive debt with them anyway.

Your post is all well and good but i fail to see why it is exactly you "loathe" President Obama? He wouldn't have an economic crisis to manage if it wasn't for the Bush Administration and the disastrous sub-prime loans industry.

Doesn't matter... it's all a load of friggin bollocks anway.

Of COURSE the recession was caused by over consumption... EVERY recession happens this way. The market gets too big for its own good an essentially implodes.

Why do people seem to think that an economy can continue to grow and grow and grow and never collapse on itself. A lot of us are just lucky we didn't live through the last recession.

I'm no Obama worshipper, but he and the American democratic party have so far handled the GFC pretty well I'd say. If they hadn't handled it well, the way it imploded would have probably tracked us more towards depression. Where companies can't afford to employ workers, so they lay them off... so those workers have no money to consume, so other companies don't have money to employ workers... and it just spirals from there.

Bailouts for companies who employ hundreds of thousands of workers in many ways make sense. While it's absolutely pathetic that the corporate giants are paying themselves huge bonuses and buying their 17th 60ft Yacht, Obama has been the first president in a LONG time to tell them to get their act together.

And that was just a common sense response to your post... don't start with me economic theory.

This thread should be locked or deleted on many grounsd. Firstly of all it is a truth universally acknowleged that anyone who doesn't like Obama is racist. Second it was started with a crude copy paste job and finally, quite rightfully, nobody has taken it seriously.
