Lol, what fraction of a percentage of families are actually in this prediciment.

And if she needs to work two jobs to afford shoes, perhaps she should've studied a bit ahrder at school to get a half decent job instead of popping out children.
Oh and now the world lives without her son who grows up to cure cancer.

Lol, 99.9% of kids won't grow up to cure cancer, and its even less likely if they struggled to pay for shoes and thus likely attended a school with poor academic standards.

And by your logic, by not having as many kids as humanly possible, we're denying the world cures to diseases. How many women have you impregnated Lentern? Hm?

I make no apologies for caring about the single mother who works two jobs so that her seven year old son can have a set of school shoes that fit.
I think the ratio of single mothers on the single parents pension who've never worked a day in their life versus the number of single mothers who work two jobs to support their kids would be an interesting research topic.
