i am a member of the air force cadets, i am going to be kicked out soon.

there is a girl there that i like (lot) and intend on asking out, there are 2 issue however. 1. is she has the (positive) social experience of a 6 year old (she's 16) and 2. she has a extremely controlling father that wont let her go out, she lives in sydney and has never been to the city apart from for anzac day parade, she is never allowed out unless there are atleast 4 people and more girls than guys.

Well BEFORE you ask her father for permission, how about ascertaining how SHE feels about you? Ask HER first then tell her that you are man enough to speak to her dad and if it takes time for you and him to build a positive relationship then do that and wait.

If she's NOT worth the trouble then move on.
