Woman dies after car sliced in half

AAP
July 23, 2009 07:10am

A WOMAN has died after being thrown from a car that was sliced in half after crashing in Brisbane's south.
The male driver of the car is in a critical condition and a second female passenger is in a serious condition in the Princess Alexandra Hospital following the crash at 3am (AEST) today.
A police spokesperson said it was believed the car was speeding before it slammed into a pole on Klumpp Road at Upper Mount Gravatt.
Major disruption has been caused to traffic by the closure of the main road while a forensic team investigates the crash site.
Meanwhile, a 43-year-old man remains in a serious condition in the Gold Coast Hospital after his vehicle crashed at Mount Tamborine at 8pm (AEST) yesterday.
Police said the driver, who was the sole occupant, failed to negotiate a tight curve in the road, veered onto the wrong side of the road and hit a tree.

This happens with older 'more experienced' drivers too....

Poor lady! suprised anyone managed to live through that!! shocking. maybe teenagers and new drivers should as part of their licence, be made to follow an emergency service/ER doc or nurse around for a few hours just to see what can bloody happen if they speed, take drugs, drink drive etc...maybe that way it will get into their thick bloody heads!
