i dont think anybody should complain about their formal until they hear the plans for my schools formal

our year co went ahead and boooked it all without even asking us first
our year 12 formal is being held in an RSL club
and we're not even having a dj
we're having a live band
made up of 50 year old men with nothing better to do with their time
then to play 70s and 80s songs we've NEVER heard of

ive seen their songlist
its awful

oh yeah and our parents are going too :|

you guys are lucky as
im guessing you had a formal commitee of students at ur school
who organised it?

and so you didnt end up with an RSL club and live band made up of some random 50 year olds.

wish we had organised a formal commiteee b4 our year cordinator went ahead and screwed up everything

nah, we didnt have a formal commitee, the teachers chose the location. the student leaders were fighting for a cruise instead, but that failed -.-

How about just going with a bunch of girls. You don't necessarily have to have a DATE to the formal. Just have a big social type thing. It's alot funner that way haha
