Hi everyone,

I have a Sharp EL-531VH and I want to change the decimal answer of sin40 to a fraction.

Does anybody's calculator do this? And is it on the BOS approved calculator list??

Oh and the answer would be great too :) thanks guys!!

You can't convert sin40 to a fraction. Because it's an irrational number. Only for very few of the sine results will be able to be converted to a fraction.

Exactly.

If you're referring to the exact results or maybe having it convert in using pi (e.g. 3pi/2.... blah blah).... then I know of no calculator that will do this.
