ok for english we have been given the 9/11 Smithsonian website (September 11: Bearing Witness to History - National Museum of American History) for the trails and the hsc we have to come up with a related test....now i have no idea on a related text can anyone help?????

I'm doing this module as well and we were told that our texts don't have to relate to the prescribed text. Just as long as they 'explore the relationship between history and memory'
So you can even do personal history if you want eg diary of Anne Frank
I'm doing A Clockwork Orange

have a look in the independent - an english newspaper. i've got an article from that relates quite well to smithsonian/history-memory. its worth a look anyway.

We have the website to. Some good related material is The Falling Man - Tom Junod - 9/11 Suicide Photograph - Esquire or BBC - History - Crusades and Jihads in Postcolonial Times
Both explore the inaccuracy of representations in terms of historical events quite well.
