No. Nothing ensures anything at this stage.

Plus, you haven't provided the rank of your school nor whether or not you've done your trials yet (which may have a drastic effect on your ranks).

So, no. Nothing ensures anything.

Your ranks look pretty good for an ATAR of 74.35, just the ranking of your school is needed to provide more detail.

School rank doesn't exactly have to mean anything! :D

Last year my school ranked about 576 (although it's usually in the mid 200s, so a very bad year I guess)... and I'm sitting on around a 96-98 estimate if I put in the effort to pull it up to the 98 of course.

I'm thrilled... I'm sure you can pull a 74.35 with those ranks... just practice past papers and ensure you're getting teachers to checkl your answers and especially essay responses.

it makes a difference if you're top ten at a 600th ranked school, or top ten at james ruse.

probably a better example would be 10th in a 300th ranked school would probably be equal to 100th at ruse. or last.

Yes, I get the general trend... but comparing schools to Ruse is incomparable... it's far beyond the others and the Ruse trial examinations are exceptional, I love them.

Hmm hard to say, definitely a 74.30 but a 74.35 could be pushing it.

You should be able to get it though, if you are determined enough, and if you're already aboard your noble steed, galloping towards success!

GOOD LUCK!

ahh.. with those rankings, couldn't he even get high 80's?

You guys all speak as though you need rank 1 in all subjects to get a uai, well ATAR now of above 90... not true.?

Unless im missing something, please enlighten me. Unless its the OP's subject choices that may result to lower scaling. Even so, OP is in the top quartile for each subject, all he needs to do is ace HSC...

if im wrong, please correct me.

They're all crappy scaling subjects aside from bio which has good scaling.

High 80's is unlikely unless the external results of the OP's cohort are wonderful.

Ok I understand. It's just that im doing similar subjects,
Gen Maths: 22/56
Stnd Eng: 1/78
Modern: 16/34
Ecos: 27/41
RE 1U: 11/83
VA: 14/25

my predicted based on my scores for half yearlies, with these current rankings was 83.15

I dont get it... bloody hell, we should stop talking about it all, and just work. We will only find out our future, in the future. Am i right?
