i did the macroeconomic policies/economic growth question and the CAD question. i didn't find the need to put in diagrams and i wrote a solid 1200 words on each.
MCQ's were surprisingly breezy but the question where you had to interpret a graph to find which year monetary was MOST contractionary from cash rate figures what did everyone put? The highest nominal cash rate was in a different year than the highest real cash rate.

The cash rate one, the one where it was the most contractionary...i put 2008.
Extended response was ok, thank god there was no globalisation. Although, i dunnoo how people put graphs in their responses.
Some short answer questions were annoying, like the reasons for inequality in the global economy.
And yeah pretty good i guess.

My eco. teacher modded our extended response. We got one on exchange rates, um monetary policy. And one on inflation, and the CAD. Exchange rates and inflation for me :)
Did the CSSA. Actually, maybe it was only the exchange rate q that was modded. I don't remember.

I really liked the exam, short answer and multiple choice. Extended response is where I'll go wrong though. ~12-15/20 maybe for each.

Yeah pretty breezy 6 pages. I like CAD questions. There is always plenty to put into them.

Also I thought the m/c and s/a were both pretty easy.

Did 26 and 28 but it seems that writing another page or two would have allowed me to answer both 25 and 26 in one essay?! Did anyone think that... Only thing is 25 didnt say monetary.

What does everyone think?

Think I stuffed up a m/c on micro policy... something about welfare/G. Did anyone get that? Dunno what question it was (14-17 somewhere?)

Same. Had heaps of stats and everything for Iceland but not too disappointed because I liked the macro and BOP topics for essays.

Writing pads but i had about a page of diagrams.

essentially no prep for top 4 - regret
That sucks. Some of the monetary policy you can do from RBA intervention in the exchange rates topic but yeah. Fiscal needs work.

where it asked for benefits of microeconomic policy? What did you put? I think I put foreign firms having a greater market share in australia because the rest were related to fiscal policy baha

For me the short- answer questions was the easiest bit, then the essays.
For me the short answer section was almost general knowledge except for the calculations. I died in the multiple choice... it didnt make sense!
