Just wandering what type of trial mark is needed for a top band in 3 unit?
- considering do 4 unit if that matters

People were saying in another thread that you should be aiming for a 60+/84 for an E4 (top band).

But of course if you got like 58/84 or something you might be able to get a band 6 if you work your but off

I got 63.5/84 last year, and I got 98 as my final HSC mark. So something like 58 is definitely an E4 I reckon.

and just curious, what would an 80+ out of 84 align to?

That seems damn awfully high for a 98 as your HSC result for 3U...

lol why not.

I got 64 and scored 49/50, 48/50 = 48/50 which shoud give me 97 or thereabout.

In saying that, they have marked him harder or something or he might have just improved so much.

ah, my mind lapse just kicked in a figured he was stating his trial exam mark, and not a guess to what he got in the HSC exam as a raw mark! Got ya

That's fair then, I imagine you guys would have improved a lot in between then as well...
