Who else left their's to last minute?

Well I did, and I hate it. But I would like to hear feedback/criticisms.

Title: The Compulsion of Romanticism: A critical study into the prevalence of Romanticism in post-modernist literature, and how it has liberated literary thought".

Medium: Critical Response
Can I print yours out for Ext 1 study? I'm doing Module B, Romanticism. I was like YES WOOOO! (PS- am just beginning to read...I should really be doing work!)

WOW.

Stop it, I' m going to inadvertently get a big head. And then if I get a shit mark I will just die. (PS- marcquelle, what phrases??, and also, I know I never gave you 'proper' feedback but i LOVED your major. The amount of times I laughed out loud..!)

Love Ginsberg. Anyone read 'On the Road'? Kerouac is awesome :)
Did you read the edited version or the one that's just the uncensored, streaming script? I found I couldn't get into the edited one, but was kicked out of QBD for reading the other one... very curious.

I lay on the floor for about 2 hours reading it, until they sniffily asked me whether I was going to buy the book. I said no, just to annoy them (I would have otherwise) so they glared me out the door. It happens so damn often.

Absolutely mate,

I'm doing Mod B Romanticism too for Extension 1.
That's why i chose Romanticism as the focal point of my Ext2.

I'd like to know what you think.

It would make sense. I mean, I like to imagine that Ginsburg was bleeding his fingers dry and wailing in the middle of the night when he wrote 'Howl'...

Ha! qf Pilot, are you studying Coleridge and Wuthering Heights too? haha, that's one way to reduce your study...

As long as the CR is an EXTENSION of your knowledge, skills or understanding from Extension 1 and not a replication.. I think I'll take a look too. Romanticism elective here as well.

Didn't do Coleridge, but using him/Wordsworth as related material for Extension 1 through Lyrical Ballads.

I am studying Bronte's Wuthering Heights though, along with Keats and Northanger Abbey.

Alex.leon:

i have pasted:
"So I linger in the artistry of life,
and will find pleasure in the
generous grog of day,
slip into the to-fro humdrum,
unabashed by my qualmish questions."
onto a picture of a friends wake (reminds me of her a lot)

i have pasted:
"like seagulls
flocked around a sacred morsel
of celebrity
pickled with infamy
seXXX tape scandal
faces flicker temporary
framed in self-importance
a man made up of whispers
a man well worth his buck"

under a fake magazine cover my friend made thats on their facebook.

and few others

This is weird...I am usually just a skulker on BOS. I read all, but post little.

Here is mine. Now, I'm off to read the 2009 Showcase...

Congratulations everyone for finishing, and good luck!
