Seriously, this Anna chick's predictions always piss me off. Buddy, you are definitely looking at high 90 such as 97-99. Your ranks are absolutely awesome and your school is also ranked relatively high. Also, your subjects are awesome scaling subjects. Definitely 98 IMHO. Trust me on this matey

Isn't 98+ pushing it?

I would say the same as anna, 95+

Obviously if you some how perform terrible in the actual hsc exams u could end up with 70ish. But what I mean is if you maintain this performance through your hsc exams then definitely in the 95-98 range. I definitely feel 98 is there to be picked out for u as long as you do not screw up.

Wow :)
Okay, can I give a bit of a hypothetical? Since these are trials ranks - if overall ranks were to change (Physics: 4/7, Chem: 3/17), though unlikely, will this lower my mark considerably?

Just putting uni preferences in... and I have no idea what I could get etc

I really appreciate the help guys

Hey, do u guys mind giving me an atar prediction as well?

English Advanced- =11/153
English Extension- =16/60
Chemistry- =27/47
Biology- 20/27
Maths- =23/95
Maths extension- =47/73

Im not too happy bout those results but my school was ranked 20th last year (Caringbah Selective High School). It was 1 of the best ranks the skl has gotten. Im hoping tht these ranks dont really matter that much if my grade does really well but i dont think it will do as well as last year's yr 12.

Any idea?

p.s im new to these forums so im sorry i intruded in this thread...

Yeah.....like dani said, who are you? Very medicine-y subjects....so I would guess you might have done STAT/UMAT (whatever it is), but you didn't post an ATAR aim, and you've only joined recently, so...you didnt go as well as you'd hoped and are now thinking of what you might get now?

Ok I have no idea, how far off am I?

hey guys,
i know im not really the best student, i was wondering if you could please give me an estimate on my ATAR. i'm confused how it works. i really need 72.5, hopefully i can get that.

my ranks are:
adv eng: 9/13 (due to 1 horrible ass task!)
bio: 3/10
math: 7/19
PDHPE: 3/9
art: 6/9

also i was wondering (particularly for eng) what marks are designated to bands. eg. 15-20 (out of 25) means band 5?
I cant figure it out.

thanks heaps :uhhuh:
