Drawing Inverse Functions (1 Viewer)

Anyone got any tricks for drawing inverse functions?

I'm sure there was one i learnt but i' ve forgotten.

Any tips or tricks are appreciated.

Draw the line y = x. Reflect everything through that line.

So, if you rotate the page so y = x is horizonal [imagine it's the x-axis] just make both sides a mirror image and it should be fine.

another, more archaic method, is to turn the sheet over, from left to right just like you would turn the page of a book, then rotate it 90 degrees and hold it up to the light.

that it what your inverse function should look like

this method is easier if sometimes as you can just copy what you see directly into the answer booklet.

keep in mind that you will look weird doing it

holding your paper up to the light on the other side
Make sure arrows are in correct places
