For the Examination Mark, given on the day before the ATAR is released:

Is this Examination Mark RAW or SCALED according to Bands etc?

I'm talking about the Examination Mark that is also used to moderate internal assessment marks. And thus the HSC mark used in the SAM estimators.

There seems to be no clarification on this AT ALL.

The exam mark you receive is the aligned mark not the raw mark.

Board of Studies don't release Raw Marks, although you can ask for it..

lol epic fail, neither; it's an aligned mark. You never get your raw marks, they tend to be aligned up, depending on the subject of course

It changes from year to year, depending on the different factors that reach the Board. Some years physics is aligned better than others, the same with business.

Unfortunately, there is no way to tell how it is going to be done this year. My advice is to simply do your best, that's what I'm planning to do.
