This might sound a little stupid, but i don't know how to do this:

How do you set up to recieve your HSC results by SMS???

The Board Of Studies allows you to receive your results via SMS.
You need to search for it, then they will provide you a number to text your student number and other details in order to complete your registration.
Then on the day the results are released you will receive a text message for your results like mine.
Each year the Board Of Studies provides a new number and a new method, in 07 they gave these two links www.hscresults.nsw.edu.au and www.hsc-results.nsw.edu.au which I signed up to. In 08 onwards they used other methods, such as StudentOnline, etc.

Send it to the wrong number set up for a previous or different year and you probably won't get a confirmation of registration and definitely won't get your HSC results via SMS on the day they are released.
Has happened.

Just wait until the school releases it and wait your time - or check the website ...

I will be at a friends place at the time most likely anyway!... celebrating freedom and getting back with old mates.

Last year, I signed up for the SMS service, it's a lot better, because the website often lags due to over 60,000 students logging on at once.

I got my SMS around 7-ish, good wake up alarm.

I shall do this, chances are my downloads will be up by the 16th so i'll need it!

I'll be overseas, so I doubt this would work...

and if your lucky you might recieve them earlier than 6am, i got mine at 5am in '07
