Macquarie Uni Bach of Comm (accounting) compared to big 3? (1 Viewer)

So how is it compared to the likes to UNSW, USYD and UTS?
Taking into account Job Interviews, employment with the big 4 accounting firms?

from what ive heard, Macquarie has a very good reputation for business and economics.

although i would rather go to UNSW, due to it being the best business school in australia (thats from what i have heard from academics)

Just go to whichever uni is closest. I go to Mac and have worked in Big 4 accounting. It doesnt make a difference really where you go from what I have seen out of those 4 unis.

Neither hehe, in terms of tiers it should be USYD/UNSW then the rest..UTS doesn't belong on that tier. (Unless it does have a particular reputation in accounting I wasn't aware of).

somewhat true.
it's debatable but on a personal level, I agree with said statement.

however it is a very competitive co-op degree to get into. our school captain got in with an UAI on the top end high 97 and the longest and most impressive resume I have ever seen. just looking at achievements alone, it spanned onto about 3 pages full of community work, extra-curricular school commitments and big noteworthy awards.
to top it off, she is also one of the nicest and most approachable people ever. she deserves it.
