wouldnt one perceive anything more thoroughly and efficiently without any partition of their cognition? your bound to be using some part of your head listening to that song.

I listen to music and dance to the song before I study. It's my warm up =D
as well as watching a few youtube videos. I really should stop doing this, it's a bad habit.

as your not allowed to listen to music in exams you should get used to studying without music imo

Mine is. I seem to remember a certain guy repeatedly playing the "Mosquito Frequency" up loud on their mobile phone and a girl was listening to her iPod, earphones hidden in her hair. This was in the Preliminary Yearlies! After getting over those incidences, for the most part my school is OK.
