What kind of raw mark is required in advanced to get a band 6. I got 87% for both paper one and paper two in the trials

Depends on the way they were marked.
We were marked hard and got around 60% all up for trial.
So it depends.

Raw mark of 87% in HSC would definitely get you a band 6
Also yeah, 40/60 (which is stupid since paper 1 is out of 45)

raw marks tell us that something as low as 82 or 83% would probably get you a band 6, at least in the past

I dont really mind just want a band 5. Because at the moment it doesnt even look like thats going to happen.

I would be of my nut if I got between 80-90
if I get 90+ i will lay down and die right now

I'm terrified of getting a band four in english, i'm in the top advanced class and i only got around 65% in the trials. I'm so confused by the whole scaling of marks thing haha
