Just random question...
If i were to use points and quotes for a module b essay (Hamlet) in the HSC exam that was similar to somebody who lent me their practice essay (as well as the structure etc.) but by no means an exact copy, what are the chances it will get flagged by the markers as possible plagiarism?

Because it's somewhat relevant

If I have used sparknotes guides to themes etc. for study (I.e. I have a collection of lots of information about all the techniques, themes etc. for my modules) and I happen to write something in the exam that is similar to say, something on sparknotes, would I be flagged for plagiarism?

so both the original writer and the plagiarist get owned?? thats a bit unfair for the original writer if they dont know that someone has copied them...

What if you reword it into your own words ? and then give your own personal reflection on it (which is different)?
