Re: Business Studies Section I: Multiple Choice

I put niche, if it was for 15-20 year olds there would be specific features for that age group...

Re: Business Studies Section I: Multiple Choice

I think its consumer. I mean it could be aimed more at the 15-20 or whatever age group it was, but anyone would still buy it since it is still normal jewellry.

Niche would be something like a market where you would not buy unless you need it, like say, you are allergic to metal and need specific materials for you jewellry.

I think the 15-20 is to throw people off.

16 is A...

its a foreign manufacturer (key word), while the australia business is a RETAILER - therefore its backward integration.

Re: Business Studies Section I: Multiple Choice

lmaoooo yehh man it was trick question because it was at start of test and the 15-20 age group was to make ppl think yep niche, thatz why ppl stil cant realise it now, ive tried to explain but they don't get the point. they targeted it to 15-20 year olds, but jewlerry in general appeals to a large market, and hence they are not differentiating it to go to 15-20 yr olds as anyone can get their hands on it. ferrari is a niche market because only a select few people can afford a ferrari. for it to be part of a niche market it needs to have a differentiating feature that makes specific people want it. case closed

Re: Business Studies Section I: Multiple Choice

Was a tricky question. Jewellery is usually expensive.. Not many businesses would sell and market jewellery to 15 year olds? Therefore they are targeting a niche? Have to wait for the BOS to release answers...
