What do you suspect will be in the exam according to trends and are you readaaaayyyyyyyyyyy
I hope its easy.well the general consensus was that last years paper was difficult (i didnt think so). Maybe were in for an easy one?
lols sutton and boveri i don't do comm but my teacher reckons that something to do with the EM spectrum and animals is going to be asked cause it always catches students and acts like a band discriminatori hope the big question is on the kidney, protein synthesis or the immune response. Hope sutton and boveri dont turn up. Dont want donated blood or silly things like that. Can do without genetic technologies. Everything else is ok. Hope communication turns out pretty stock standard - and they dont go asking for silly animal questions or crap like that.
OMG i will die if there is an 8 marker on ADH and stuff. I still dont understand it..lols sutton and boveri i don't do comm but my teacher reckons that something to do with the EM spectrum and animals is going to be asked cause it always catches students and acts like a band discriminator
ADH and aldosterone is easy. Yeah ur right (kid 2 above), the animal questions in communication will catch pple off guard cos pple just study the eye, ear and the brain.OMG i will die if there is an 8 marker on ADH and stuff. I still dont understand it..
THe whole course is fine except that grr.
what were some of the questions in the independent trial? (just so i can tell if that was the one i did - mine was extremely easy - i got 97 lol).Argh, can't wait to get this exam over and done with, so much content that you need to remember for it. The Independent trial was nothing like the past hsc papers. The trial was easier to study for because it followed the syllabus so religiously. The hsc doesn't make it so black and white for us. GL everyone.
I can't remember them exactly but they basically took a dot point from the syllabus and made it into a question. Hence making it so obvious to students what they were looking for in your answer. Damn 97 aih, what paper did you do?what were some of the questions in the independent trial? (just so i can tell if that was the one i did - mine was extremely easy - i got 97 lol).
thats what i mean - im not sure what it was! Some questions had been replaced by past hsc questions (e.g. the 2008 question on experimental design for pathogens in drinking water was in there). There were quetions like:1. label three parts of the eye on this diagram 2. Explain with diagrams the differences between myopia and hyperopia3. A comparison of ecto and endotherms4. The adaptive advantgae of haemaglobin5. DNa replicationI can't remember them exactly but they basically took a dot point from the syllabus and made it into a question.
