no it would have been 100 because the height is decreasing at a constant rate
if it takes 100 days to decrease one unit from 3 to 2, it will take 100 days to decrease from 2 to 1 as well
im happy to say i put 150 in the test though...

hey what program is used to write these solutions, ive always been curious. is it MS word? i wouldnt think so.
Wolfram Mathematica. I have it too, nice program; less figety than latex.

for q3ii) i put tan (pi/8) = square root of (3 - 2root2) wich is right but not the same answer as terry, would i still get the mark

btw theres only 2 of us and somehow we both managed 1st.

now that i think about it i managed to come 1st and last lol
