Ah thanks for the replies. Clarified a few things for me.
Hmm, well I want to do B EE / B Sc (Computer Science) and seem to have got an interview for Comp science only ...
I guess it wont hurt to go to the interview.

How many positions you reckon Comp Science gets ?

dunno - leaning away from it, as you can probably tell, but I want to keep my options open...

well let's see what u are getting (or going to get):
- scientia
- ADFA
- some really crazy scholarship valued at 15000 (fancy name too!)
- few other scholarships here now and then
- merit scholarship

if u add up scholarships that can go together (adfa, scientia , some really crazy...thingo, few other scholarships) = 60000+

u might as well go with that lol

lol...it's simply my estimate based on last years' figures.

THIS YEAR will be different for sure. With GFC, they probably cut a lot of interviewee numbers..

By the way, do you think going to both briefing days are necessary if you get interviews from both faculties?
^^I'm hoping my parents won't come with me, that way I can go to sydney by myself and have an adventurous time!

Hi Everyone,

I have found a resource that may help with our interviews (I have not made it but though I'd share this):

UNSW Co-op Program

On that page are individual contacts for each scholarship category (e.g. email addresses) so perhaps you could email these people and find out about your field and use that to your advantage in your interviews.

ALSO there is the email for industry sponsors so perhaps you could email those guys to find out about the sponsors for your course. Maybe by doing this the person you talk to by email could be on the panel! That would be cool.
