year 11 doesnt matter that much (but i wont say it doesnt matter at all). Maybe you should wait for an exam to come up..you know those things you do after you learn the information???

I've already started studying for Chemistry. Going to start for Physics sometime this week.

Also, I'm doing HSC 2U Maths because I'm being accelerated :S

Self-study.

My motivation comes from many things.

The major one would be the fact that my parents have spent thousands of dollars to send me to tutoring. I decided that instead of having them use even more money, I would rather just buy a textbook for $40-60 and study off that.

I also have competitive friends (Official especially).

And the fact that the course I want to get in (Medicine) requires QUITE a lot of determination and commitment.

Well good on ya kiddo!

What i'd really like to know, is what school are you at? since as you have alot of competitive friends... I'd love to join that tribe.

But dude, I wanna do Law at USYD - 99.55 AT LEAST.

Hi five!
So, does anyone want to make a study group? (wow so nerdy) for year 11 and 12?
i used to never care about school and always go out, party.
e.g. i would get like 40% and 60% would be my best mark.. wow a big turnover for me.
since exams all finished now.. i'm bored.. i don't know what to do..
i will enjoy the rest of these holidays though..
Right back at you! :D

Yeah, likewise...i hate having nothing to do

OH!
I know quite a few people that go there!
I was supposed to apply this year, but I had other schools in mind.
Do you know if you - as in YOUR school - take new year 12 students?

:)

Buy or borrow a textbook? That is generally how people study for it...

No I don't think our school accepts Year 12s... o__O

Threads like these make me lose hope in humanity. *facepalm*

You haven't started Year 11 yet and don't until early next year. Already been said a thousand times in this thread but allow me to reiterate: Your teachers don't expect you to know any of the prelim content. Enjoy your break.
