Right so someone at my school has screwed up massively - my ranks (as given by the school) were as follows:

English Advanced - 18/60
Chemistry - 11/24
Physics - 6/13
French Continuers - 1/5
English Extension 1 - 3/10
Mathematics Advanced - 9/28

And the BOS rankings are:

English Advanced - 21/60
Chemistry - 15/24
Physics - 9/13
French Continuers - 2/5 (WTF? I topped every single assessment for the entire year!?!)
English Extension - 7/10 (How can there be that much difference?)
Mathematics Advanced - 11/28

Lower for every single subject. Oh well, I'm going to assume that either the teachers at my school are a bunch of dimwits who can't add up, or my results have been seveeeeeerely skewed in the scaling process...

I feel sorry for the above. Luckily I only have problems with 2 subjects (not as lucky as the others with none).

For 3U maths, say you're tied 3rd with 4 people and in the report, the assessment rank in the end was 3rd BUT on Students Online, it says I'm 6th. Shouldn't it still be 3rd?

English I should get fixed myself. Long, complicated story.

Fucking hell. I knew my teacher would screw up with art. I was the only person in the class who actually cares about my ATAR, hence being the only person to get above 90 in any assessment and actually TRY and I get 2nd? I have a sneaking suspicion that my art teacher gave his little protege (a guy whose major work in my year my teacher actually did himself) 100% for all his major work progress marks. Sigh. Time to query my school.

All the same as my report so fortunately no problems. Wish I got last years ranks though, which were all literally higher and where I topped two yearlies and equal topped another. Oh well.

To fuzzy09 in case you haven't been able to check yet are you sure you're using the right password? It's the one on the blue pamphlet thing, not the letter from UAC. My brother made that mistake when checking his rank for an accelerated subject.

To those of you who didn't get ranks for all your subjects please make sure you get that fixed up it'd suck if you've put in all the effort and don't end up getting an ATAR:O

Either the school fucked up their reporting, they lied to you, or you were slightly beaten by others. But if mark gaps are close I wouldn't worry too much, as it shouldn't adversely affect you

me too! i came second as well.

my annoyance though was with ext 2, there are 3 in the class, the other two came equal first and i was half a mark behind them! it was just like why couldnt i have gotten that half a mark?? but ohwell.

they got all my ranks right... which was good.
