need help downloading/converting torrents (1 Viewer)

hey guys, I just downloaded a torrent and I don't know how to convert it to a video file? The software I'm using is BitTorrent 6.3, can anybody help me out please? I'm really new to this

download Winrar, not peazip.

Download winrar then extract the files then lol seriously mate

sorry my bad, the filename has .rar obviously the format is .torrent

- open the .torrent file with utorrent/vuse/ares/whatever
- wait for torrent to finish downloading
- once downloaded, go to your newly aquired '.rar' file
- extract with winrar or winace or 7zip

You are mistaken. The file you downloaded is in .rar format. The tiny file you used to download the .rar is the .torrent file: you use the torrent to download the rar.

I think hes having trouble finding the file by the sounds of things. Open you Bittorrent client, find the file you downloaded on it and right click on it --> open file location. Now as you obviously have no idea what .rar is your computer will probably have the file represented by a wierd icon.

Download and install winrar (use the default settings) and right click on the file (your downloaded torrent) and click "exctract here".
