it's the PIN number that comes with the notice...i just found mine, and you need it to get your actual HSC results, so you better find it!!!

oh, i just noticed you don't do HSC until next year!!!! i didn't get it until about half way through year 12!! (i think, it all depends on your school!)

They're usually given to you from school.

As said, from the school. However don't confuse it with your UAC PIN, which is sent directly to you in the post, and I think it comes slightly later than your BOS PIN.

IIRC it was around July, but uni applications don't open until around mid-August, and you'll definitely have it by then.
