Each school has its own level of testing, some averaged ranked schools have harder maths then decent ranked selective schools. So its pretty hard to estimate raw needed, best thing would be to ask your teacher's on it. Or in a few months do the CSSA trials and compare with that.

ask past students or teachers in your own school, or just do the best you can

95 ATAR? I'd say in general, around 85-90 for most subjects.

Depending on the school and subjects, that could be for 97+ ATAR but that is a good range to aim for either way XD

Also remember that ranks + mark gaps are more important than the actual ranks :)

@OP - how highly is your school ranked?

This is what i got and i was getting mostly 90-95 in all my subjects bar English Adv, where my marks were more around the 85-90 range. My subjects were predominantly humanities with some creative arts.

I havn't done my HSC yet, but what I've heard or nutted out is pretty much what everyone else has said, it depends on your subjects, your ranking, your schools ranking and how difficult a school/ teacher makes the tests.

But presuming your subjects don't scale down hugely, low 90s should do the trick- but aim for the highest you can get :)
