and 99.1 is plenty for law anywhere other than Usyd and UNSW

Oh comeon, some ppl have dreams of doing law or medicine (yeah... stereotypes). I personally wanted to do law, but I missed out because my hsc sux, compared to what I wanted to get. It has nothing to do with what other people wanted to get, just a goal that I set for myself. So whilst you may think >90 ATAR is really good (which it is, admittedly), some people want better

you make uts sound like it has lower standards...
many courses require a higher atar to get into at uts than unsw and some aren't even offered at usyd
