Hey buddies,,

I am looking for a night shit or weekend job. What are the possibilities?
Night shift jobs can be anytime after 4 pm till whenever.

Security, forklift driver, night filler, Anything else??? Wheres the money at?

Dealer at Crown Casino. It's a fucking amazing job to have if you can stand the 8pm-4am night shifts. Great pay, great benefits, good location for most people.

Being a dealer would be awesome.
I would love it when someone wins really really big and they pass you a 100k chip and say to you - 'this one is for you', when they leave.

100k for a night of dealing is not bad. Altho I have seen this in films, I have never seen this happen for real tho.

Just in the movies. Dealers are not allowed to accept tips. But it is an awesome job, you get paid to do pretty much nothing.

Also, you have to have been a dealer for a loooong time to work at those high stakes tables. For the first couple of years you'll be on $2.50-$100 tables.

6 weeks of fully paid training - they give all that to you during that.

Yea dealers can't accept tips because of their gaming license. One thing is if you're a pretty girl go work on gaming floor/VIP salons/room a lot of tips to be had there and you get to keep the majority of it coz like i think 20% of it goes to bar.

Loads of leagues clubs and RSLs are open quite late on weeknights, and even later on weekends so there's plenty of night work.

I work at Coles as nightfilling, and its really easy to get a job there.

But if you want lots of hours/money, work at Maccas. They will work your ARSE off!

Are you a student? Even if you're not, say you are, then you will be given special student hours. This means that you only work night shifts and can elect two nights every week which you won't get shifts on. This is the case for Crown Casino, at least, and I'm sure it's similar for others.

Fark, I feel like I'm advertising for them. I recently went through all these hurdles to get a job as dealer with Crown, then declined the job when they finally offered (decided the night shifts weren't for me, and they really aren't for everyone).

Nightfilling at woolies/coles is always an option, as has been said. Someting my brother does, which is night work, is helping to set up at the markets (i think Paddy's), though you'd probably have to have some contacts for that.

Yeah I'm a student. Oh I might look into that. I know full time employees need 24/7 availability but I'll see if they do student hours

my woolies manager told us wollies wont hire under 18's after 10pm even on nightfill
