Who here has gotten 99+ without accelerating? (1 Viewer)

I'd like to know. It feels like not accelerating can be a big disadvantage since you have all this time in year 11 to do a few HSC units and you can work on being really good at them instead of doing everything in year 12.

guy i know got 99.7 without acceleration
itd say most people in that range dont accelerate

Out of the 80 or so people above 99 at my school, only about 30 accelerated.

I got 99.85 without doing anything that counted in Yr 11. (I did 2U Maths in Yr 11, however, since I did 4U in Yr 12, it didn't count).

Thanks That made me feel better. My school doesn't have an accelerate program and a lot of my friends from other schools are accelerating.

Not that many schools accelerate.

Three out of the five 99.95s at my school had no acceleration.

Not accelerating isn't a disadvantage at all. Much less a "big disadvantage".

Lots of people got 99+ and didn't accelerate. I however, was one of the few that did XD

i don't think that counts as accelerating it... learning ahead isn't accelerating

i agree with the person above, thats not accellerating, just shows he was disciplined and committed
probably why he got 99.95 ....and the fact he's a study freak xD xD

LOL. A very committed person.

I can't speak for myself, because I accelerated, but the 2nd highest ATAR we received (99.15) was achieved without acceleration.
