In so far as we think we can talk to god we are imbuing him with human qualities and I therefore see no reason why he would not be able to have beliefs. If he were just pure omnisience he would have no opinions and therefore not be able to talk to us!

If there was a god and this god is the only god then it should be fine him being buddhist because buddhists don't need a god. So that doesn't mean there is a buddhist god. lol
