Sure this has ben said before, but:
If god created us human beings, then he created our neural network, our biological state as we know it and therefore the chemicals and impulses that cause attraction between two people.
Surely he would have known that there was a possibility that someone would be or turn gay? If not, it's his mistake and he shouldn't cast them to hell and whatnot.
Or possibly, they were meant to be on this earth and he created them for a reason.
God created man in his image and blessed us with the gift of free will to do as we please. However he did lay out a set of rules, which cannot be disputed.
Humans have the gift of free will, we can choose to have faith in God, or reject him from our lives. In addition, we can choose to accept the rules God gave us or reject them for our own convenience.
Athiests accuse Christians for being hypocritical, "you don't follow everything in the Bible." This is true, mankind is tainted by the original sin, and is unable to resist temptation to sin throughout his whole life, however one with faith in God is driven by their love for Him to try.
However Christ died on the cross for our sins for all eternity, to be forgiven, all you need to do is believe in Him and ask for His mercy. If you don't beleive in Christ you cannot be granted this mercy, and you will suffer the punishment for your sins.
Temptations are different for different people. While one may be tempted to have sex outside of wedlock, others may be tempted to fornicate with those of their own sex. Both are perversions of God's intention of sex in humans and both are equally selfish, wrong and immoral.
The temptations vary for different people. Experiencing the temptation is not a sin inunto its self, abandoning God's law and allowing oneself to be tempted into sinning is.
