It's better now than that time it was just a libertarian circle jerk.

I like the new posters who care about things.
It still is a libertarian circle jerk.

Which rules.

The main problem faced by NCAP is everyone is on 15ppp and thus people don't read any of the thread and just driveby post.

I prefer the heated debates. Now that school is finished it's pretty much the only actual thinking I do in between binge drinking, clubbing, going to gigs, weed and recovering the next day.

I agree. Noone really get's convinced by the other side's argument.

I am, however, ashamed to admit that my previous views on muslims (a view that I have to give full credit to my racist mother by the way) have changed and are more...positive.

you, you are the worst. your face is everywhere in the homo and god thread.

you made your point ages ago, who cares what the other phobes and quakers say.

I certainly agree with number two, disagreement is good and can be constructive. But the way that we disagree is so heated and agressive. Its like we feel the need to control other peoples' opinions. Perhaps I do have an issue with the nature of debate more generally, but I still feel that we could discuss things in a much better way. You can have really good and friendly conversations with people that disagree with you.
I sort of agree. It annoys me when people start calling each other idiots, and posting facepalm pics, or simply expressing exasperation that someone has a different opinion and calling them an immoral monster. Often they reveal that they are the idiots.

My debates with KFunk are a good example of how you can disagree on the issues without making it personal.

Although I did personally attack him in another thread. Still, he managed to stay above it, so kudos.

KFunk is in a league of his own, if there were a dozen kfunks on this site we would have devised a viable peace plan for Palestine/Israel within a week.

Arab/Muslim/Jewish/Israeli background?

For me it's just a violent allergy to socialist propaganda. And a love of freedom and common sense :p

Yes, I'm tired of it, but it's something to do/watch unfold when there's nothin else to do. Most debates tend to go around in circles and not really get anywhere anywayz.

i dnt mind them, it's kind of hilarious just being an observer and watching people get really emotional over their argument.
