I was thinking of having one huge folder with those dividers and i'll put all my sheets and whatnot from each subject in them, and one other folder to put together all my exercise books.

is that okay?

That's what I'm doing...

BINDER 1:
- Holds exercise books

BINDER 2:
- Holds loose-leafs in plastic sleeves
- Holds sheets in plastic sleeves
- Subject divider thingo's

BINDER 3:
- Self composed study notes (typed up, in plastic sleeves)
- Subject divider thingo's

Binder 3 will be kept at home, unless I decide to bring it with me to cram before an exam, lol.

A few years ago Officeworks had exercise books for 1 cent each.
Hahah, awesome. Is that even a profit... I doubt it very much. I just hate it when you go to a different store and they're selling a nice book (maybe it's spiral) or it's got a few different things in it and the book it about $5-10, that's insane.

I just went with folders and looseleaf paper.

Study notes, seriously? I mean not that it's shocking or anything..

Does anybody ever just absorb and revise daily? Would that work instead of making notes? I find it too conformist.

I tried to minimize the amount of folders which I had, although I think I only ended up brining it down to 4 or 5... but some days I had to take them all home for homework or some kind of work, etc.

So get used to a physically heavy load.
All these folders are going to be used at home. Hmm... Should I get a big folder for school? Idk what it'd be used for though.

Hehe, I used all my folders each day and always took all my notes and work with me. Now it's different of course with my new system and all... but each to their own.

I think you should be taking a folder to school with all your things in it, as this will keep things organised into one place and you shouldn't lose things that way.

Is that at the moment? A few days ago I went to Big W and the cheapest books were 10c for A5 96 page exercise books.
They were selling a pack of 10 64pg books for 10c. I already have an excess of books from 2 years ago when my mum bought a dollars worth LOL.

I was planning on doing both and cram. THE TRIPLE WHAMMY! Well if you revise the day's work within 24 hours you actually remember 80% of it. I remember this time in history where the teacher was explaining the anti-war development stages of the Vietnam War and she forgot Bill White's name and no one remembered it and then I accidentally blurted it out. This was because the day before, I felt like highlighting so I started highlighting some history notes. I was so surprised I remembered a tiny fact like that.

This might be a bit off topic, but here goes...

Anyone know where I can find USB extension chords?
I need one for my printer... I'm I'm re-arranging things in my room.

If you could tell me how much and which shop, that would help a lot too :)
Any help is much appreciated.

I'm pretty sure you can find one from Tandy or Dick Smith.
