I'm a year 12 student wanting to do a Bsc (neuroscience) at UWA next year but I'm not sure about the job prospects. I originally wanted to do Bsc (Biomedical Science) but thought that the course might be too general and filled with students using it to get into medicine. Also although I really want to study at UWA, if I choose medical science am I better off doing my degree at Curtin whose course is accredited by the AIMS?

Any information on either course or uni would be appreciated.

I think so too but neuroscientist/researcher isn't listed on
Job Outlook - Make Your Career a Reality - Job Outlook
so will I be wasting my time doing a degree that won't get me anywhere?

Btw are there any other sites that provide specific info on jobs apart from the one above?
I'm sure you could do further reasearch after a BSc (neuro) and get into research or do a masters in pharmacy and get into the effectd of drugs on the brain for a pharmecutical company, if you combine it with something wisely you can do anything, and get paid for it.

the only career outcome for neuroscience is animal lobotomist (such procedures are no longer preformed on humans, pets on the other hand...)

you never find science jobs on job outlook. This is because most of them are filled straight away by another person within the same building. Networking is key.
