Good point but how is this going to convince my friend to post?
That's not the cybergang, that's who the cybergang picked on which was good. That list doesn't include the one he's most scared of.
Tell him it's a lot of fun here and that there are actually nice people (like me)Good point but how is this going to convince my friend to post?
I wouldn't recommend non-school to him for at least....ever.Tell him to stick to non-confrontational topics in the school section. Later on, he can venture out into non school.
It's like sending someone who's never had the internet to /b/I wouldn't recommend non-school to him for at least....ever.
I remember when I first posted on there. I got ripped to shreds by Chamelia hahahahaha...good times.
But do the pros outweigh the cons?Tell him it's a lot of fun here and that there are actually nice people (like me)
No.But do the pros outweigh the cons?
The mod team does take reports very seriously. Sometimes our response can be delayed a bit, but every report does get looked at.No offense but I don't think that reporting abuse stuff makes much of a difference. I've heard of a couple of complaints that have gone ignored.
The chances of a cyberbully on one particular person are small, given the number of users. The pros of the site easily outweigh this.Originally Posted by Dragonmaster262

No.
He must have been praised a lot as a kid. He's scared of getting dissed just like how some people dissed me.
1) be able to stand up for yourself when you are cyber bulliedMaybe I should get my friend to apply for a moderator. Then he can bann anyone who cyberbullies him. ajdlinux what crietria do you have to meet to become a moderator?
Ridiculous. He'd need to actually use the site first, and have a reason to be mod. You can't just be a mod for 'self-defense'.Maybe I should get my friend to apply for a moderator. Then he can bann anyone who cyberbullies him. ajdlinux what crietria do you have to meet to become a moderator?
Untrue. Mods get it just as much as anyone.I don't think anyone will bully a moderator.
